Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Occupation’s escalation of its attacks against the Palestinians undermines international legitimacy

The Palestinian Foreign Affairs Ministry warned the disregard in repercussions of Israeli occupation entity and its settlers for international legitimacy, by escalating aggressions against Palestinians and expanding settlement schemes in the West Bank.

The foreign Ministry said in a statement to Palestinian Wafa Agency that the Ministry condemned the raiding settlers, for Jabal Sabih in Bita, south of Nablus, with the aim of seizing and expanding settlement operations.

The Ministry added that the occupation authorities continued to expand the settlement schemes in the West Bank, which violated the resolutions of international legitimacy.

One citizen killed, two wounded in terrorist attack on Lattakia and Hama

A citizen was killed and two others were injured in a terrorist attack with missiles fired via two drones on the outskirts of the city of Qardaha in Lattakia countryside and Deir Shamil town in Hama countryside.

A security source told SANA’s reporter in Lattakia that two missiles were fired by a drone, one of which fell in agricultural lands next to Qardaha clinic, killing engineer Muhammad Hani Sultana, 25, and injuring another citizen , and minor material damage to a building.

In Hama, SANA’s reporter said that the terrorist organizations deployed in Idlib countryside attacked by a drone that fired several shells on Deir Shamil town in Hama countryside , which resulted in injury of a woman and material damage.

Yesterday, a child and a woman were killed, and three citizens were injured in a terrorist attack carried out by the terrorist organizations deployed in the northern and northwestern countryside of Idlib, through a drone that dropped two bombs on residential neighborhoods in the Salhab area in Hama countryside.

Lavrov: We support accession of the African Union to the G20 group

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced his country’s determination to resolve the issue of the African Union’s accession to The Group of Twenty (G20)as soon as possible.

“In the near future, with our intensive cooperation, the issue of the African Union’s accession to the G20 will be resolved,” Lavrov said during a meeting of the Business Council of the Russian Foreign Ministry Friday.

The countries of the African continent are interested in working with Russia, Lavrov said, expressing his confidence that the Russian-African summit in the Russian-African Forum this year will strengthen relations between the two sides and promote them to a remarkable new level.

The Russian foreign minister added that the countries of the continent are interested in working with Russia to achieve the goals of the African Union’s strategic document in Agenda 2063.

Lavrov said “we hope that the summit meeting will give a strong impetus to the comprehensive development of Russian-African relations.

Handicrafts for 55 women within the exhibition ‘Ibdaa 12’in Homs province.

With the participation of 55 talented women in manual and craft work, an exhibition and bazaar Ibdaa 12 ” Innovation” was launched at Safir Hotel on Thursday in Homs province .

The exhibition, organized by a group of creative young women in cooperation with Homs Chamber of Commerce, varied between antiques, chandeliers, handicrafts, embroideries, accessories and flowers, which combined heritage and modernity.

Talented women from Homs and different Syrian provinces participate in this exhibition, which will last for three days.

Halim al-Akhras, vice president of Homs Chamber of Commerce, said that the Chamber of Commerce supports all economic and craft fairs taking place in the province.

Among the participants, there was a participation by engineer Inaam Hammouda from Tartous, who presented a collection of ornaments and jewelry that reflect the Phoenician character and the civilization of the Syrian coast.

Syria wins four medals in the Special Olympics World Games

The Syrian Special Olympics team won three bronze medals and a silver medal in the Special Olympics World Games, which are currently being held in the German capital, Berlin.

The weightlifter Muhammad al-Bitar and the weightlifter Huda Freih harvested the medals in weightlifting competitions.

In the previous days of the Olympics, the Syrian team won various medals in swimming, cycling and badminton competitions.
