وبحسب أحدث تحليل أجرته Emergent Research ، بلغت قيمة سوق الأدوية التجديدية العالمي 9.80 مليار دولار عام 2021 ويُتوقّع أن ينمو بمعدل سنوي مركّب يبلغ 15.9% لتصل قيمته إلى 37.10 مليار دولار عام 2030.

وستتولّى “مجموعة سي إتش ترايدنغ” بموجب هذه الاتفاقية توزيع المنتجات في أكثر من م ا ئة من الدول الأعضاء في المنظمات الحكومية الدولية التالية (“الأسواق الإسلامية”) أو المرتبطة بها :

منظمة التعاون الإسلامي التي تضمّ 57 دولة في أربع قارات .
مجلس التعاون الخليجي الذي يضمّ البحرين والكويت وعمان وقطر والمملكة العربية السعودية والإمارات العربية المتحدة.
الاتحاد الأفريقي، ويضم 55 دولة .

CCTV+: China’s top disciplinary body adopts communique to promote full, rigorous Party self-governance

BEIJING, Jan. 11, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — The Communist Party of China’s (CPC) top disciplinary body on Tuesday pledged in a communique that studying and implementing the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress will be the primary political task now and in the near future, and constantly promoting full, rigorous Party self-governance.

The communique was adopted at the second plenary session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the CPC, which was held in Beijing from Monday to Tuesday.

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, Chinese president and chairman of the Central Military Commission, attended the session and made an important speech.

The speech made by Xi at the session was studied, and it was agreed that it provided fundamental guidance for advancing the great new project of Party building in the new era and the disciplinary inspection and supervision work on China’s new journey in the new era, according to the communique, which called on all Party members to study and implement the spirit of Xi’s speech.

Discipline inspection and supervision organs must take the study and implementation of the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress as a primary political task at the current stage and in the years to come, and turn effective implementation of the guiding principles into a strong driving force to promote high-quality development of the disciplinary inspection and supervision work on the new journey of the new era.

An eight-point requirement was put forward by the session:

To focus on implementation of the strategic decisions of the 20th CPC National Congress to intensify political oversight;
To promote improvement of the systems and regulations for the Party’s self-reform;
To ensure that political inspections serve as a powerful tool;
To implement the central Party leadership’s eight-point decision on improving conduct with perseverance, tackle pointless formalities, bureaucratism, hedonism, and extravagance;
To make all-around efforts to tighten Party discipline;
To win the tough and protracted battle against corruption;
To advance reform of the discipline inspection and supervision system in an in-depth manner;
And to develop qualified human resources capable of shouldering responsibilities in discipline inspection and supervision on the new journey in the new era.

South Sudan: Release six media staff detained in relation to circulated video of President Salva Kiir urinating in public

Joval Tombe, Joseph Oliver, Mustafa Osman, Victor Lado, Cherbek Ruben, and Jacob Benjamin, six staff members of the South Sudan Broadcasting Cooperation (SSBC), are arbitrarily detained at the National Security Service (NSS) headquarters, known as ‘Blue House’, without access to their family and lawyer(s). According to media reports, five of the media professionals were detained following their arbitrary arrest by the NSS in Juba on 3 January 2023, and one was detained after being arbitrarily arrested in Yambio on 4 January 2023.

Sudan, South Sudan agree to improve border security

Sudan and South Sudan have agreed on ways stabilizing economic and security cooperation between the two countries.

The decision was reached during Thursday’s meeting between South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir and the head of the Sovereign Council of Sudan Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan in the capital, Juba.

The two leaders, according to a communique extended to Sudan Tribune, emphasized the importance of maintaining stability and security along the common borders to promote peace and prosperity for the two countries.

The two leaders also agreed to deploy joint patrols to halt the uncontrolled flow of arms and ammunition across the loosely-defined border.

“As the two countries are closely intertwined, instability or insecurity within one country can spill across the borders along the loosely-defined border,” partly reads the communique issued on Thursday.

Kiir and his counterpart also “agreed to establish a joint Security Force to prevent the infiltration of illegal weapons and to combat negative forces and their activities along the common borders”.

“The Heads of State reaffirm that consolidating internal peace in each of their two countries is the sole responsibility of their national security forces and also recognize that a bilateral collaborative approach can help effectively address internal security issues within the two countries,” it said.

The communique further said the two countries will establish regular meetings between their respective national security forces to share intelligence and coordinate actions to address potential threats.

The two countries said they are able to internally address these security challenges.

The two heads of state directed their respective concerned security sectors to launch the implementation of this decision as soon as possible.

The undersecretary of South Sudan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mayen Dut Wol said the two leaders discussed ways of stabilising political, economic and security cooperation and between the two nations.

For his part, Sudan’s undersecretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dafallah Al-Haj Ali said the meeting focused on ways to fast-track the implementation of the peace accord, security issues and bilateral relations.

After the regime change in Sudan, Khartoum accepted an offer by President Kiir to mediate peace process with the armed groups saying ending Sudan’s internal conflicts means also peace in his country.

Khartoum and Juba had long-time traded accusations of support to respective rebel groups.

South Sudan and Sudan signed in September 2012 in Addis Ababa an agreement on petroleum sector matters, border security, border crossings, nationality and other issues.

Sudan teachers question timing of Khartoum education ministry’s mid-year break decision

The Sudanese Teachers’ Committee has reacted with scepticism to a decision, announced on Tuesday by the Khartoum Ministry of Education, to amend the calendar for schools in the state for 2022-2023, and introduce a proposed mid-year holiday.

Gariballah Mohamed Ahmed, acting Director General of the Education Ministry, announced in a state-wide memo that the mid-year holiday is “a natural result of the ‘strike for dignity’ the teachers started”.

The decision would mean a mid-year holiday in “all government and private educational facilities” starting from Wednesday, January 11, until Sunday, January 29, for “all stages of education in Khartoum state”.

Duriya Babiker, member of the Executive Office of the Sudanese Teachers’ Committee, stated that the ministry’s mid-holiday amendment was a purposefully political decision.

“The timing of the suspension of studies for three weeks coincides with the strike announced by the Teachers’ Strike Committee,” she told Radio Dabanga.

Babiker also shared her frustration over the Khartoum state Education Ministry’s plan of collecting SDG800 (US$1.40) as exam fees for each student from all schools, even private ones, stating that they “had no right to collect money from students”, as “education is officially free”.

Government schools demanded the SDG800 exam fees from each student. Many private schools in the capital were met with resistance from the parents, as their tuition fees were meant to cover costs for the entire school year, unlike public schools.

‘Schools heavily interrupted’

About 6.9 million girls and boys, one in three school-aged children, however, do not go to school in Sudan, the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the international aid organisation Save the Children in Sudan said in a joint press statement in September last year.

“A further 12 million will have their school years heavily interrupted by a lack of sufficient teachers, infrastructure, and an enabling learning environment to make them reach their full potential,” the statement reads.

Gunmen kill 4 people in Ayod County, Jonglei

Officials in Ayod County of Jonglei State say unknown gunmen shot and killed four people and made away with over 200 cattle in a remote village last weekend.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj Wednesday, James Chuol Jiek, the Ayod County commissioner, said the incident occurred when the armed men attacked the locals at a waterpoint in the Kwach-Deng area.

“The attackers killed two herdsmen who were looking after the cattle at a waterpoint in Kwach-Deng and raided 268 cows. Later as the attackers left, they found two women on the road and killed them,” he said.

Commissioner Chuol added that the county remained calm despite the incident.

For his part, John Samuel Manyuon, the state information minister, also confirmed the attack but said that he was yet to get full details.
