Bahrain supports Egypt and Sudan’s legitimate rights to Nile waters

Bahrain expressed full support to Egypt and Sudan in their legitimate right to the waters of the Nile River, backing the two countries’ efforts to protect their water security and preserve the interests of their peoples.

The Foreign Ministry called on the international community to intensify efforts to reach a just settlement to the issue of filling and operating the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, through adherence to the international law and direct dialogue between the three countries, in a manner that would achieve the common interests of all sides and maintain peace, security and stability in East Africa.

Temperatures: Maximum 43 degree Celsius and minimum 29 degree Celsius

Humidity: Maximum 80% and minimum 15%

Sea waves: 1 to 3 feet

NPRA to use new residence permit sticker starting Sunday

The Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs (NPRA) will use the new residence permit sticker from Sunday, July 11.

The old sticker is valid until its expiry date, and there is no need to change it.

The sticker could be placed at any branch without the need to book an appointment, It also could be placed at the exit points of Bahrain.

Commander-in-Chief inspects BDF unit

BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa paid an inspection visit to a BDF unit.

The commander-in-chief was briefed on the unit’s combat readiness and military preparedness, as well as its workflow.

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa stressed that the BDF continues the march of military development at various levels thanks to the constant care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.

The commander-in-chief highlighted the landmark’s accomplishments of its brave affiliates, to whom he wished every success in carrying out their tasks.

SEA President receives Bahraini Ambassador to Israel

Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA)’s President Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza received Bahraini Ambassador to Israel Khalid Yousef Al-Jalahma, on the occasion of his appointment.

Dr. Mirza congratulated the ambassador on the issuance of the Royal Decree appointing him as head of the diplomatic mission of the Kingdom to Israel, wishing him success in performing his duties in a way that contributes to achieving Bahrain’s objectives in spreading security, peace and stability in the region.

The meeting reviewed the most prominent achievements that the SEA has been able to achieve through its role in the government system in line with national visions to advance the renewable energy sector and energy efficiency in the Kingdom.

The ambassador expressed his great pleasure to see such great progress made by the SEA that had a vital role in advancing the sustainable energy sector in Bahrain.
