MUSCAT: Nearly 200 Omani small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs will have a chance to showcase their businesses at the Creations Oman exhibition to be held from November 4.
This was announced at a press conference held at the Public Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (PASMED) on Monday.
The five-day exhibition is being organised for the second time. Khalifa bin Said al Abri, acting CEO of PASMED said, “We are holding the second edition of Creations Oman following its success last time. This time we have added some more companies and some new ideas as well.” Entrepreneurship in the sultanate is booming, he noted.
“Through this exhibition we hope to promote and market those local products and services and also look to provide more help and facilities for entrepreneurs,” he added.
At Creations Oman, products and services such as food, dates and sweets, gifts, crafts, restaurants and cafés, perfumes, incense, fashion, clothing and textiles will be on display. There will also be a photography exhibition and a workshop on traffic safety. A show of classic cars, Noor Majan Oman will be also held.
