Zeaiter: Absence of president reflects on performance of government

JANUARY 2, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Minister of Public Works and Transportation Ghazi Zeaiter said on Friday, at a ceremony on the occasion of the holiday season, that “the absence of a President affects the work of the government,” hoping that a head of state would be elected during the meeting scheduled on January 7.

Zeaiter did not fail to mention the file of the military hostages taken by a terrorist group that is trying to blackmail the Lebanese state, its government and its people.

“We hope they will be released as soon as possible,” he said.

The Minister finally wished that “peace and stability prevail in Lebanon and the Arab countries.”
