Zahra: Dialogue does not connote a change in alliances and beliefs

FEBRUARY 22, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Lebanese Forces MP, Antoine Zahra, insisted during an interview with Future Television on Sunday that dialogue between two Lebanese components is a blessed and positive approach to solve national issues.

“Communication between the LF and Kataeb was never interrupted. Our positions are 80% homogeneous even without coordination. A multilateral dialogue is impossible in the absence of a head of state,” he said.

“The constitutional and political life is non-existent without the election of a president. March 14 confirmed that, as did former Prime Minister Saad Hariri in his speech on February 14,” he noted.

Concerning dialogue with the Free Patriotic Movement, Zahra indicated that reaching an agreement was not impossible. However, he noted that the dialogue, which was being kept private, did not indicate a turn in positions and alliances.
