Villa Boustros welcomes International Court’s crimes investigation in Palestine

JANUARY 17, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Villa Boustros has welcomed in a public statement, the International Court of Justice’s decision to investigate Israel’s human rights violations in occupied Palestine.

The ministry wishes to see Israeli officials responsible for crimes perpetrated against humanity stand trial, the statement added. It also urged Court Prosecutor General Judge Fato Ben-Soda to investigate Nusra and ISIL crimes in contravention of Rome and Geneva conventions something which lies under the International Court’s jurisdiction, Villa Boustros statement concluded.
