US Deputy Secretary of State arrives in Beirut

APRIL 5, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) US Deputy Secretary of State, Tony Blinken, arrived in Beirut Sunday via Paris, for a two-day visit during which he will hold talks with House Speaker, Nabih Berri; Prime Minister, Tammam Salam; Central Bank Governor, Riad Salameh, and a number of Lebanese officials, centering on prevailing conditions in Lebanon and the region.

Greeting Blinken at the Airport was US Ambassador to Beirut, David Hale, and a number of Senior Embassy Staff.
