JANUARY 14, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammed Badreddine Zayed, said that the Lebanese-Egyptian relations are deeply entrenched, pointing out that great facilities are provided regarding the granting of visas to the Lebanese brethrens, both in terms of procedures, or the time required for visa issuance.
Ambassador Zayed’s fresh words on Wednesday came during a press conference he held at noon at the Phoenicia Hotel, to announce the details of the “Lebanese Egyptian Business Forum” to be taking place in Beirut February 13, 2015.
The press conference took place in the presence of Head of the Union of Arab Chambers, Mohammed Choucair, Head of the Egyptian-Lebanese Friendship Businessmen Association, Fathallah Fawzi, and “Economy and Business” Group CEO, Raouf Abou Zaki.
The Forum is organized by the “Economy and Business” Group commissioned by the Egyptian-Lebanese Business Friendship Association.
The senior envoy disclosed the existence of a strong will to push forward the economic and trade relations between Egypt and Lebanon, noting that the Business Forum constitutes an important step in this regard.
Zayed hailed the particular deeply-rooted cultural and popular ties between Lebanon and Egypt, stressing the need for further bolstering economic relations, with the Lebanese investments in Egypt rating the fourteenth among the ten largest foreign investments in Egypt.
