(update) A fresh US arms’ consignment bound for the Lebanese army

FEBRUARY 8, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) A fresh US-made arms’ consignment bound for the Lebanese military got to hand during a special ceremony attended by Army Chief General Jean Kahwaji and US Ambassador David Hale at Beirut seaport, NNA field reporters disclosed today.

Taking the word, US ambassador Hale disclosed that the present consignment of US arms bound to the Lebanese military amounts to $25 million disclosing further forthcoming military aid destined for combating terrorism.

The arms’ consignment comprised 72 artillery pieces and 151 containers laden with assorted munitions and ordnance of all calibers, the same reporters concluded.
