MUSCAT: Travel Point, Oman’s leading travel and hospitality company has announced its accreditation with Crescent Rating, the world’s leading authority on Muslim-friendly travel.

With this, Travel Point becomes the only accredited travel agency in Oman to be accredited by Crescent rating. Vacations – the outbound leisure division of Travel Point, thus, officially launches Halal Vacations in the market, the fastest-growing phenomenon.

The Halal resorts and hotels envisaged in the packages will not serve alcohol in the premises and the food served will be Halal. The hotel or resort property will have a separate pool, spa and leisure facility for men and women, and also family-oriented facilities. They will also contain private women-only beach areas and also mixed beach areas for families with Islamic swimming dress code. There will also be prayer facilities on site.
