MUSCAT: Majid al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East and North Africa, announced that international entertainment icons Tom and Jerry will make their Oman debut at Muscat and Qurum City Centres during Muscat Festival, a press release said.
From January 31 to February 8, visitors to Qurum City Centre will enjoy live shows daily from the cartoon world’s best-loved cat and mouse duo, including meet-and-greet opportunities. During the same week, Muscat City Centre will host a Tom and Jerry cheese maze activity, with participants hunting through a dedicated zone and earning a certificate afterwards. There will be children’s art activities as well.
“Guests of all ages love the antics of Tom and Jerry. We are delighted to bring this calibre of entertainment to Oman during Muscat Festival, reinforcing our leadership in hosting international-standard events and raising the standard of entertainment in the sultanate,”said Husam al Mandhari, senior mall manager at Muscat City Centre.
Majid al Futtaim and Muscat and Qurum City Centres have been long-standing supporters of Muscat Festival and this year, they are Silver Sponsors of the event which celebrates culture, arts, and entertainment in the Sultanate of Oman. Shoppers at both malls can win 20 gold coins every week during the festival.
