Sarmadi from Ain El Tineh: We urge Yemeni’s parties to dialogue

APRIL 8, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri welcomed on Wednesday noon the Iranian President’s special Envoy First Deputy Foreign Minister, Mourtada Sarmadi, the accompanied delegation and Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammad Fathali with discussions reportedly featuring high on latest developments.

Sarmadi said after the meeting that it was an opportunity to exchange ideas and points of view regarding the developments of the last ten days, mainly the nuclear deal reached between Iran and the P5+1 group and the military attacks against Yemen.

He added that talks tackled the ways that could be adopted to treat the Yemeni crisis which should be based on putting an end to the military attacks and preventing killing innocent people and destruction of Yemen’s infrastructure.

Sarmadi added that his country urges all Yemeni parties to start dialogue, adding that all political parties in Yemen should meet at a neutral zone to discuss forming a comprehensive cabinet.
