Salhab: There is intention to sign accord paper between FPM, LF

JANUARY 15, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Member of Parliament Selim Salhab disclosed the presence of intentions to sign an agreement document between Free Patriotic Movement (FPM) and Lebanese Forces (LF), adding that his party doesn’t mind signing such a document with “Future” bloc.

Salhab said that dialogue is meeting the desired seriousness, noting that a positive atmosphere stems out of it.

“It is to Aoun and Geagea to set the date of their meeting, and there is no problem in waiting if that would make us reach the desired outcome,” Salhab “Voice of Lebanon” radio on Thursday.

The lawmaker added that the dialogue’s main aim is reaching common grounds.

He explained that Interior Minister Nouhad Mashnouk’s visit to Rabiyeh was not the first, noting that the minister relayed a message from Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri to MP Michel Aoun.
