Salameh attends ESA biannual meeting in Paris

JANUARY 14, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) The Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Riad Salameh, attended the biannual meeting of ESA (Ecole Supérieure des Affaires) that was hosted in Paris by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, upon the initiative of the French ambassador to Lebanon who co-chairs the ESA with Governor Salameh.

On the margins of this meeting, Salameh met senior French officials, notably the Minister of Foreign Affairs Laurent Fabius, the Minister of Finance Michel Sapin, and the French Central Bank Governor Christian Noyer, to give them an updated overview of the economic and financial situation in Lebanon.

The meetings of ESA Supervisory Board held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the special attention given by the French authorities to the Lebanese economy show the keen interest of France for Lebanon and its stability.
