Salam welcomes Egyptian Ministers, others

FEBRUARY 13, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Prime Minister, Tammam Salam, on Friday met at the Grand Serail Egyptian Minister of Industry and Trade, Mounir Fakhry Abdennour, and Minister of Investment, Ashraf Salman, with talks featuring high on the means to boost commercial exchange and joint investments between the two countries, for economic developmental purposes.

Egypt Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammad Badreddin Zayed, and a delegation of the Egyptian-Lebanese Friendship Association attended the two-pronged talks.

Salam later welcomed Minister of Labor, Sejaan Azzi.

He also received the Secretary of the Change and Reform parliamentary bloc, lawmaker Ibrahim Kanaan, with whom he reviewed an array of local dossiers, including Beirut Seaport and talks about the filling of the facility’s fourth basin.

Head of the State Council, Judge Shukri Sader, later visited the Prime Minister for talks over the council’s activities.
