Salam says electing president restores balance to our institutions

APRIL 21, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Prime Minister Tammam Salam asked on Tuesday all the “political forces to swiftly elect a president to restore balance to our constitutional institutions.”

No single side would be able to succeed alone in deciding the fate of the country, the PM stressed.

Salam’s remarks came at the Lebanese Education Conference that was held at the Phoenicia hotel in Beirut.

He confirmed that the Cabinet is ready to engage in a discussion workshop about an integrated strategy for the development of the educational sector.

“The sector needs a clear strategy to be able to meet the demands of the century,” the Premier said.
