Sacked Casino employees resume sit in against board’s decision

FEBRUARY 26, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY LEBANON) Following the issuance of the Casino du Liban Board of Directors’ Decision to keep 47 employees in their posts and stick to sacking the rest of them and giving them compensation, the dismissed employees gathered in front of the entrance to the casino and resumed their sit-in to protest against this decision.

They brought tents and threatened to hurt themselves, according to the NNA correspondent.

Discussions are underway to prepare a report that requests the return of all employees, as clarified by the Head of Casino workers’ syndicate Jack Khoueiri.
