Resurrection Church’s “Holy Light Flame” arrives in Beirut via Jordan

APRIL 11, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) The “Holy Light” Torch of the Resurrection Church in Jerusalem arrived 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Rafik Hariri International Airport in Beirut, coming from Jordan, carried by Father Nectarius Khairallah on board a Royal Jordanian Airline flight.

Senior officials gathered at the Airport’s VIP lounge to welcome the “Holy Light” Torch, most prominently Higher Education Minister Elias Abou Saab, MP Ghassan Moukheiber and Father Seraphim Daoud from Balamand’s Monastery.

A crowd of citizens hailing from different Lebanese regions also assembled in the vicinity of the Airport to light their candles from the sacred flame and receive blessings, with prayers and hymns heard out loud the moment Father Nectarius arrived carrying the “Holy Light” Torch.
