Pharoun launching International Cedars’ Festivals: For maintaining political agreement on security, dialogue

June 2, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Tourism Minister Michel Pharoun underlined the dire need to maintain the minimum level of the government’s presence and the political agreement on security and dialogue over any security measure.

Minister Pharoun jointly patronized with MP Streeda Geagea the launching of the International Cedars Festivals, during a press conference held at the Ministry, in the presence of MP Serge Torsarkissian, Ministry Director General Nada Sardouk, Head of Bsharri Region Touristic Committee, Joseph Geagea, and concerned dignitaries.

Pharoun said that the launching of the Cedars’ festivals recovers a rosy chapter of the history of Lebanon, and restores to the region of Bsharri its touristic rubric, to be added to the renowned region’s religious, environmental, rural and artistic heritage.
