Pharaon meets his Paraguayan counterpart

APRIL 27, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Tourism Minister, Michel Pharaon, on Monday met with Paraguay’s Minister of Tourism, Marcela Bacigalupo, with whom he discussed common issues between the two countries, particularly in light of the presence of a large Lebanese Diaspora in Paraguay.

The minister noted that a tourism agreement would be signed soon between Lebanon and Latin America.

She also also said that she had agreed with her Lebanese counterpart on Lebanon’s participation in a tourism fair to be held in October in Paraguay, to promote Lebanon in said region.

In addition, the Minister met with the President of the Union of paraplegics, Silvana Lakkis, with whom he discussed the integration of people with special needs in the tourism sector.
