Oman is all set to host the 33rd meeting of the executive office of Union of Arab National Olympic Committees (UANOC) from February 23-26, according to a press release from the Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) on Sunday.
A total of 14 Arab sports administrators will attend the three-day summit, which will be chaired by Prince Talal bin Badr bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia, the UANOC president.
The meeting will decide the host of the 13th Arab Sports Games apart from discussing other key matters.
Also in attendance will be Sheikh Issa al Khalifa, UANOC’s first vice-president and Khalid Zainuldin, second vice-president.
Khalid al Zubair, the OOC chairman who is a member of the UANOC executive office, will be joined by representatives from Palestine, Jordan, UAE, Tunisia, Sudan, Lebanon, Libya and Saudi Arabia.
