APRIL 25, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Minister of Energy and Water, Arthur Nazarian, said on Saturday on the occasion of the centennial of the Armenian genocide that solidarity among all factions in common issues build the nation.
The Minister was addressing those who protested when schools were given a day off to commemorate the genocide.
“If some were ignorant about certain issues, they should read history, whether Armenian or Lebanese, before heading to intolerance.”
Nazarian added in a talk to Free Lebanon radio that what was right can never die, even after a hundred years.
“The people who claim their rights will get them.”
