MUSCAT: Twenty eight exhibitors participated in the second ‘My School Exhibition’ which was held recently at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.

The exhibitors at the event included schools, nurseries, educational centres, bookshops, IT developers and suppliers of educational toys and tools.

Dr Nawrass Shrourou, general manager, Al Shaam Exhibitions & Festivals, said, “We’ve seen an increased interest both from the exhibitors and the public compared to last year. We only had ten exhibitors last year. We feel we’ve been successful in creating a platform for educational professionals and parents where they can meet and exchange views. Also, with an increase in the available school teaching systems in the market, parents have a chance to compare the latest systems and find which ones work best for their children.” Dr Shrourou added that preparations for the event’s next edition have begun.

“My School Exhibition 2016 will feature more exhibitors, events and facilities, along with the cooperation of the authorities. However, we will officially announce the launch when we finalise the plan.”

Organised by Al Shaam Exhibitions & Festivals, the three-day event was held under the auspices of Sheikh Sultan Majid al Abri, a Majlis A’Shura member.
