Ministry of FA: new measures do not include Syrian nationals

JANUARY 14, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday issued a memorandum to the Lebanese missions, embassies and consulates abroad, on the directives relevant to the new measures adopted on the level of the entrance to Lebanon of Syrian citizens.

According to the instructions given by the Ministry, “the entrance of Syrian nationals does not require a visa but a declaration on the visit reason, in addition to the required documents.”

“These measures aim to certify that the Syrian nationals who enter the Lebanese territories are not refugees or displaced,” the memo indicated.
