Military hostages’ families visit Druze Sheikh Aql, wave escalation

JANUARY 13, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) A delegation of the families of the military hostages on Tuesday visited Druze Sheikh Aql, Naeem Hassan, with whom they discussed the latest developments concerning their kidnapped sons.

Following the meeting, the delegation addressed the Lebanese government saying: “We hope that you looked at the photo al-Nusra Front sent yesterday (…) we hope that you meet over the dossier of our sons to bring them back in the nearest time possible because we can bear no more suffering.”

“We said that we would not accept to be afflicted with the loss of any of our sons and we repeat it from here,” they added.

The delegation also called the Minister of Information, Ramzi Jreij, to stand beside them “just like he stood beside the victims of the crime in France.”

“We are waiting for news from the government after we met the request of Prime Minister Tammam Salam to stay away from media,” they said, threatening of escalation “that we will not be talking about now.”
