MUSCAT: In a bid to further strengthen its presence in the region, Michelin, a global leader and manufacturer of tyres and travel related services, opened a new Tyreplus branch and Michelin truck service centre (MTSC) in Oman.
The new branch located in Ghala industrial area was inaugurated by Mohsin Haider Darwish, founder of Mohsin Haider Darwish and Herve Skrzypczak, Tyreplus franchise manager for Michelin AIM zone.
The inauguration of Tyreplus and MTSC facilities was also attended by Lujaina M Darwish – chairperson, Mohsin Haider Darwish, Daoud Helmi, Michelin commercial director UAE and Oman, S K Wig – director, MHD-T&B, ministerial officials, and several customers and business partners.
Skrzypczak said, “We are all proud of this very important milestone. This achievement is clearly in line with our strategy to further expand our network to incorporate 80 new branches in the GCC by 2018.
