Machnouk: Water is a major problem which we seek to address

FEBRUARY 22, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Water supply is a major problem which we seek to address, visiting minister of the Environment Muhammad Machnouk, complained to his hostess President Rouhani’s female assistant Maasouma Ibtikar in Tehran today.

We aspire to build a green economy and ecology through closer cooperation with an Islamic Tehran with such a vastly accumulated experience, Machnouk told her. As the government endorsed a blueprint for solid waste recycling, we look forward to Iranian help he reportedly informed Urban Planning minister Akhawandi whom he met later in the day.

Machnouk ended his Tehran press conference on a rather pessimistic note regarding Ballaa water reservoir as having been erroneously built on 7 holes as he described them.
