MUSCAT: Latest weather charts and satellites images show that the low pressure over the southern Arabian Sea is now a depression, with wind speed around the centre estimated at 20-25 knots.
The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has said that the condition could intensify into a deep depression and move northwestwards. There will be no direct impact on Oman’s coast in the next 48 hours. The depression is 1,100 km from Oman’s southeast coast. PACA is monitoring the development and has asked people to follow its updates.
