Lebanese truck drivers caught between Saudi, Jordanian border call for government’s help

APRIL 5, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Lebanese truck drivers stuck at the Saudi-Jordanian border called upon the Lebanese government and Saudi authorities to provide a ferry or ship so that they can return home along with their trucks after armed gangs took control over Nassib crossing between Jordan and Syria.

NNA field correspondent reported on Sunday that the drivers stated that they no longer had food or money to remain where they are. The drivers also face a fine in case they do not exit Saudi territories in due time.
