Lebanese truck driver survives landmine explosion at alNussaib Crossing

APRIL 6, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Lebanese truck driver, Abdel-Halim Mahmoud Abdallah, survived a landmine that went off as he was passing through al-Nussaib Crossing on his way back to his home town of Beit Younes in Akkar on Monday,” NNA correspondent in Akkar reported, adding that “huge damages were inflicted on his refrigerated truck as a result of the blast.”

“Abdallah miraculously reached his hometown safely after surviving the landmine explosion that hit his truck along the Syrian border, and after getting through the various risks along the road from the Syrian-Jordanian border to the Syrian-Lebanese border,” NNA correspondent indicated.
