Kataeb: government must clinch livelihood priorities until president elected

FEBRUARY 23, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Kataeb’s politburo on Monday deplored the failure to hold the 19th Parliament session to elect a new head of state, calling upon parties to reconsider their position and help choose a president of the republic.

The party also regretted the attempts to tamper with the Cabinet “whenever discussions touch on vital issues.”

Kataed proposed that the Cabinet convenes behind closed doors to clinch livelihood priorities until a new president is elected.

Concerning the security plan in the region of Bekaa, the party said that the plan spread reassurance among people, expecting it to be executed nationwide.
