JANUARY 2, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Member of Parliament, Ibrahim Kanaan, said on Friday that the anticipated meeting between Lebanese Forces Leader, Samir Geagea, and Change and Reform bloc Leader, MP Michel Aoun, has not been set yet, but shall be taking place real soon.
“Tangible progress has been made towards this end, and we’re looking forward to more positivity reaching this meeting,” the lawmaker told the Voice of Lebanon radio station.
However, the MP asserted that agreement had been reached over the basic headlines of the aforementioned meeting.
He said that organizing inter-Christian relations was a must in a bid to craft a unified vision for state institutions.
“We hope this step would get Christians closer to find common denominators which make them a stronger and more active political force,” Kanaan concluded.
