Jumblatt sends condolence telegram to Jordanian monarch

FEBRUARY 5, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Head of the Democratic Gathering MP Walid Jumblatt sent a telegram to Jordan’s King Abdullah II whereby he denounced the savage and barbaric murder of Jordanian pilot Moaz Kasasbeh, deeming it a brutal crime that contradicts with all human, moral and religious values.

Jumblatt stressed that “this condemnable terrorist act confirms once again the need to redouble all efforts to confront it [terrorism] and put an end to it, in order to restore stability in the region.”

Jumblatt offered to the monarch and to the family of the martyr Moaz Kasasbeh and the Jordanian people his warmest condolences.
