FEBRUARY 3, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) MP Samir Jisr on Tuesday met at his residence in Tripoli with United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Sigrid Kaag, in presence of lawmaker Mohammad Kabbara, with talks featuring high on the current situation in the country and the northern city.
“The United Nations is concerned about Lebanon and about the public policy in the country. We discussed the crisis that had jolted Tripoli previously,” Jisr told reporters following the meeting.
“We know that there more than a project by the UN and the EU and we hope that efforts would be unified in order to beat poverty during ten of 15 years,” he added.
