FEBRUARY 18, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Member of Parliament Jamal Jarrah said on Wednesday that ending power void is a major item on the agenda of Future- Hizbullah dialogue sessions, pointing out that the failure to elect a new president start to reflect negatively on the state institutions.
The MP stressed the need that all parties, mainly those who disrupt presidential elections, set off to solve this crisis.
“Today’s (Wednesday) dialogue session between Future movement and Hizbullah will continue to discuss the security plan and will probably tackle the presidential situation,” Jarrah told “Voice of Lebanon”.
Commenting on Hizbullah’s General Secretary, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the lawmaker noted that nothing has changed of Hizbullah’s approaches, especially regarding the regional issues and its involvement in the Syrian war.
The MP added that Nasrallah’s call for other parties to take part in the regional wars would jeopardize Lebanon and drag regional wars to the Lebanese interior, saying “this is rejected.”
Jarrah confirmed the presence of communication between MP Michel Aoun and former Prime Minister Saad Hariri, underscoring possibility of a meeting between them.
