Jarrah: France is trying to find favorable environment for completion of presidential elections

FEBRUARY 2, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) MP Jamal Jarrah said in an interview with the Voice of Lebanon – 93.3 Radio that “France is trying to find a favorable environment for the completion of the presidential elections, mainly through today’s visit of Head of the Middle East Department and North Africa in the French Foreign Ministry, Jean-Francois Giraud to Lebanon.”

“In light of the situation and the accelerated events, there is still no international or regional progress in helping accomplish this election,” he said in this regard.

Jarrah pointed out that “the recent events, mainly the Quneitra assault, the response in Shebaa and the words of the secretary-general of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on the rules of engagement will be the subject of in-depth research in the round of dialogue tomorrow, because the words which were said and there expected consequences put Lebanon at great risk.”
