Hotel Dieu: We hope that the Health Minister contacts Head of the Hospital to clarify matters, and our doors are open to Ministry patients

FEBRUARY 21, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) In an issued statement by “Hotel Dieu de France” Hospital on Saturday, it responded to recent news about Health Minister, Wael Abou Faour’s decision to stop cooperation between the Public Health Ministry and Hotel Dieu Hospital due to the latter’s violation of the terms of contract, noting that “the Hospital Administration hopes that Minister Abou Faour contacts its Head to clarify matters,” adding that “the Hospital’s doors are open to the Ministry’s patients.”

The statement also hoped that “the media would withdraw the issue from circulation, or at least inquire further about the matter through concerned authorities at the Hospital, so as to establish the grounds of truth.”

“Hotel-Dieu de France’s Management wishes to emphasize its strong commitment to pursuing its leading role and increasing its level of hospitalization services and treatment in Lebanon and the region, as well as its commitment to the close, well-established relation with its patients,” the statement concluded.
