Hashem: Berri and Salam are working on developing formula to break government deadlock

FEBRUARY 16, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) MP Qassem Hashem confirmed in a statement on Monday that the positivity in the speech of former Prime Minister Saad Hariri on the commemoration of his father’s assassination lies in his commitment to dialogue and his emphasis on its significance as a national necessity, calling for building on this speech.

In an interview with the Voice of Lebanon – 93.3 radio, Hashem said House Speaker Nabih Berri and Prime Minister Tammam Salam were working to develop effective formulas to break the government deadlock, explaining that “everyone is convinced that the paralysis will reflect negatively on all rivals, especially since disruption affects the citizens’ livelihood affairs.”
