FEBRUARY 16, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Minister of Telecommunications, Boutros Harb, said on Monday, after his visit to former Prime Minister Saad Hariri that the presence of the latter is essential for the start of a dynamic within the March 14.
He then wished for a political action to be restarted among the March 14 forces “to advance new ideas for the Coalition to play the required national role, especially during the difficult situation through which the country is going.”
Harb stressed the importance of the “agreement on a united approach pending the election of a head of state.”
“The absence of a president greatly affects the country’s politics, the democratic regime and the sustainability of the institutions. We need to find a way to make the necessary decisions until a President is elected,” he said.
On a different note, Hariri discussed with the Ambassador of Morocco to Lebanon Ali Omlil, bilateral relations and means to boost them.
