APRIL 9, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Former president Amine Gemayel on Thursday met with a delegation of the Jordanian-Lebanese Friendship House committee, headed by lawmaker Raed Hejazin, in presence of MP Elie Marouni, with talks touching on an array of regional affairs that concern the Lebanon and Jordan.
Speaking to reporters following the meeting, Hejazin indicated that both Lebanon and Jordan had a major role in the development of the region, the Gulf, and America, noting that the Lebanese have also contributed to the development and construction of Africa.
He clarified that talks touched on political, economic, security and social dossiers of common interest, recalling the solid relations between Kataeb party and Jordan.
The Jordanian lawmaker called upon the donor states to back the governments concerned with the Syrian refugees, especially Lebanon and Jordan.
