Gemayel receives call from Salam over security juncture

JANUARY 12, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Kataeb Party head, former president Amine Gemayel, on Monday received a phone call from Prime Minister, Tammam Salam, whereby they discussed the current security situation in light of the fresh incidents.

A statement by Gemayel’s press office indicated that the pair highlighted the necessity to close ranks amid the current critical stage.

It added that both men also underlined the importance of speeding up the solving of the pending issues at the Cabinet.

Separately, Gemayel contacted former president Michel Sleiman, with whom he discussed the current general situation.
