Geagea: We put presidency file aside in dialogue

FEBRUARY 18, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Lebanese Forces head Samir Geagea said, “We are exerting all efforts to let our dialogue with the Free Patriotic Movement succeed, especially that the points of divergences are an accumulation; however, we put the presidential elections file aside in our dialogue, as it is heavy enough, in order not to impede the discussion over other items worth to be settled.”

Geagea on Wednesday held a press conference in Maarab.

“I am not seeing in the meantime any solution to the presidency issue unless the two boycotting blocs decide to participate in the election session on March 11,” said Geagea, who added that the solution to problems in Lebanon start by electing a new president.
