Geagea: No stability or development amid presidential vacuum

APRIL 1, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) “Lebanese Forces” (LF) leader, Samir Geagea, said on Wednesday that “stability, economy and development cannot be resumed without a normal political life on top of the election of a new president and the formation of an effective government.

Geagea words came during a meeting in Mehrab with a delegation of the Banking Department in the party.

Commenting on the kidnapped servicemen’s file, Geagea urged the government “to do everything in its power to free them.”

Geagea concluded by reassuring the Lebanese that the situation in Lebanon “is stable due to the Lebanese will to have stability, while as wars and crises storm the region mainly Iraq, Syria and Yemen.”
