MP Mohammad Hajjar who read the communiqué of the bloc, voiced the Future’s condemnation of “Hezbollah’s attempt to train religious and sectarian militias, similar to those that destroyed Iraq, Syria and Yemen.”

According to the Future bloc, the establishment of Hezbollah’s Brigade would provoke sectarian discord.

The Future MPs expressed concern over “information about the increasing involvement of Iran in Syria, illustrated by sending Revolutionary Guards forces to fight there alongside the Syrian regime.”

They called upon Iran to learn from its flagrant intervention in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Lebanon and restore relations of trust and cooperation with the Arab countries and populations.
