French Defense Minister leaves to Doha

APRIL 20, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian left Beirut this evening heading to Doha aboard a private plane, winding up a two-day visit to Lebanon where he met with senior Lebanese officials.

Seeing him off at the Airport have been Vice Prime Minister, National Defense Minister Samir Mokbel on top of a delegation from the army command, in addition to French Ambassador Patrice Paoli.

Le Drian partook in the handing over ceremony of the first shipment of French arms to the military within the frame of the Saudi donation, held at the International Rafic Hariri Airport.
