Fatfat: Hezbollah is not serious about dialogue

FEBRUARY 3, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Future Parliamentary Bloc MP Ahmad Fatfat said that the salvo of shots which rang out in Beirut skies during Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s most recent speech are an outright proof that Hezbollah is not serious about dialogue.

“We are facing an armed party that intimidates the country by its arms and claims support to dialogue,” Fatfat told Orient radio station.

The lawmaker also stressed that the issue of the “Resistance Brigades” has not been removed from the agenda of dialogue, but that Hezbollah does not want to discuss it.

Fatfat criticized the use of religious language in the processing of vital records, especially among Casino Du Liban employees or the backfilling of Beirut port’s fourth basin.

“Beirut port case is technical and includes a transgression of the law,” he added.

He also hoped that the meeting between the head of the Lebanese Forces, Samir Geagea, and Free Patriotic Movement Leader, General Michel Aoun, takes place soon.
