Fatfat: Dialogue between Future, Hezbollah longterm plan

JANUARY 26, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Future bloc member, MP Ahmad Fatfat said in an interview to the Voice of Lebanon radio that dialogue between the Future Movement and Hezbollah is a long-term plan.

“We do not expect amazing results in a short period, but we insist on this approach at this stage, as long as Hezbollah agrees on the need to keep the internal scene calm and protect Lebanon as much as possible,” he said.

He stressed that “dialogue is first and foremost to calm the Lebanese internal scene and implement the security plan across the country, starting with Roumieh prison and ending with the Lebanese army’s control over the Bekaa Valley.”
