Families of kidnapped soldiers on the eve of commemorating the beginning of their suffering: We wish that time could erase the day of August 2nd!

August 01, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Families of the kidnapped soldiers held by “al-Nusra” and “Daesh” chose the occasion of Army Day on Saturday to mark the first passing year since their sons’ abduction in the outskirts of Ersal on August 2, 2014.

Gathering in their tents at Riyad el-Solh Square in Central Beirut, holding their lit candles and raising prayers for their kidnapped sons, the families wished “that time could erase the day of August 2nd!”

They urged officials in the Lebanese State “to speed up the completion of this issue to reach a happy ending.”

It is to note herein that Prime Minister, Tammam Salam, delegated Head of the Higher Refugee Committee, Commander Mohamad Kheir, to meet with the families and reassure them of his strong faithfulness to solving their sons’ dossier.
