Fabius informs Salam weapons to be delivered to Lebanon early April

FEBRUARY 8, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) French Foreign Minister, Laurent Fabius, notified Prime Minister, Tammam Salam, that French arms will be delivered to Lebanon the first week of April.

Fabius told the Lebanese prime minister, with whom he met in Munich, that France intended to continue its contacts with all parties to ensure the election of a new president.

The two officials also addressed the issue of Syrian refugees in Lebanon. On that note, Fabius asserted that his country planned to up its assistance to Lebanon in this regard and urged the international community to follow France’s example.
